The following poem was contributed by ARPA reader Art Blokhuis, in response to the Ontario governments recent policy developments, including their so-called "anti-bullying" legislation.

Are there gender bending, message sending, tyrants at Queens park?

Are they self-professed messiahs, with a message bleak and dark?

They're the author of the daycare set? “send your small tykes to me,

We will raise them and instruct them, set from inhibitions free.”

 

We'll teach them love and tolerance and make them of one mind

There are many more religions, each one fuzzy warm and kind.

For we all are of one brotherhood, made from some primal slime,

To which we owe our existence, though it took eons of time.

 

Can some faith revoking atheist, claiming thousands in their train,

Insist, they alone have answers? Fools, braying with loud refrain,

Yes,“Pre-kindergarten toddlers, are a burden,” they will say,

“And the mothers must be free to work and bring home double pay.”

 

It's the State's responsibility, to health and wealth incline

And should anybody disagree, We'll co-erce with a fine,

We'll teach them who they seem to be, some, neither girl nor boy,

Who really don't need moms and dads, yet fill their days with joy.

 

And bullying we'll eliminate for we won't tolerate,

A view reflecting difference to the one imposed by state.

But relativity will be taught, there's no confining law!

Yet, truth will be defined, it seems, by what they say they saw.

 

I'm but a single voice, I say; “What is a man to do?

When Laws received fom Him above are deemed to be untrue?

When man exalts himself to be the lone and only voice,

When sex, by rule, is manifest, as preference or choice?

 

Where education is portrayed; Man's [oracles of God]

But contradicts the Bible, clearly teaching, that they're not.”

“I ask you fathers, mothers, wake up, hurry, see the Light,

Education is awareness of His Truth that shines forth bright.”

 

For the Word was the beginning, the beginning He was God.                             John 1:1-5

He's the source of every knowledge and in Him all things are taught.

So to you who fudge and fumble, those, who enact at Queens Park,

Let Christ's Word shine in your corner, Light! The way out of all dark!
